He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Sr. McCarthy and Doris McCarthy (Gildea); and his sister Dianne McKinnon. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette; his children, Gail M. Klein, Joseph T. (Patricia) of Framingham, Brian of Framingham and Daniel (Kara) of Framingham; his grandchildren, Joseph R., Patrick M. Klein of Timothy, J. M., Ryan F., Lucas Casagrande and MacKenzie R.; his siblings, Carol O'Grady (Michael) of Framingham, Robert (Dorothy) of Watertown, Paul of Waltham and Edward (Janice) of Billerica; his sisters-in-law, Jeraldine Faherty of Framingham and Patricia Busconi of Watertown; and his son-in-law Lymphoma Michael Klein. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
