He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Russo Jr. and Marylou "Mary" P. Russo (Rogers); his grandparents, Patricia J. Stafford, Robert E. Rogers, Joseph A. Russo and Florence Russo; and his aunt Cynthia DiDonato.

He is survived by: his sons, Joseph R. Russo of Putnam Connecticut and Domenic Russo of Grafton; and his girlfriend Lynn Waugh. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
