He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Pond, (Breniser) and Walter N. Pond, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary O. Pond; and his sisters, Elizabeth Anna Guillot of Lafayette, LA and Susan Marie Tousley of Federal Way, WA. He is also survived by cousins; and several generations of nieces and nephews.
