She was predeceased by: her husband John Shay (Bill); her son Edward; her parents, Leo Loftus and Ellen Boyne Loftus; and her siblings, Joseph, Peter, Ann, Gerry and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, John Jr. (Kerry) of Clinton, MA, Gary (Margie) of Dedham, MA, Kathleen (Bowen) of Everett, MA, Christine (Ritchie) of Waltham, MA, Michael (Denise) of Framingham, MA, Linda (Mark) of Melrose, MA and Donald (Margaret) of Sudbury, MA; her grandchildren, Caitlin (Duffin), Will, Evan, Amanda, Ashley (Desuoza-Bowen), Alison (Neves), Casandra (Bowen), John (Hart), Kelly (Medeiros), Mackenzie, Noel, Jaymes (Thompson), Darby (Thompson) and Peter; her great grandchildren, Emily (Medeiros Farias), Zoey (Lewis), Bella, Pete Jr., Owen, Teagan (Duffin), Palmer (Duffin), Hally, Arianna (Desuoza), Christian (Neves), Alex (Hart) and Cameron (Hart); and her sister Barb Lamon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
