He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth H. Abelman (Borovoy); and his brother Lester Abelman. He is survived by: his children, Steve Abelman (Robin Holab-Abelman) and Nancy White; and his granddaughters, Sarah and Debbie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
