He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert P. Dugan and Laura Dugan (Ballard); his wife Margaret A. "Peg" Dugan (Major); his son Lawrence "Larry"; his sister Barbara Farrington (Gene DaPrato); his son-in-law Greg Murphy; and also Peg.

He is survived by: his daughters, Susan A. Paradis of Lunenburg, Kathleen M. Dugan (Michael Barrett) of Lunenburg and Maureen E. Becker (Kevin) of Peabody; his grandchildren, Kevin Paradis (Heather), Kayla Paradis (Dan Jazwinski), Jared Smith (Kory Desmond), Sammy Barrett (Ellis Toll), Joshua Becker and Katherine Barrett; and his great grandchildren, Jace Becker and Dax Paradis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
