He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Chiappini and Mary Chiappini (Anghinetti); his wife Betty Anne Chiappini (Haughey); and his sister Eleanor Bernardi. He is survived by: his children, Phillip J. Chiappini (Susan) of Naples, FL, Marianne Wessels (Phil) of Jacksonville, FL, David A Chiappini of Framingham and Julianne Hanna of Southborough; his grandchildren, Philip Wessels, Kristin Salts, Brooke Hanna and Keely Hanna; and his sister Dorothea Weatherby. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ernie's memory to the Joanne Sullivan Memorial Fund, 18 Aberdeen Rd. Framingham, MA 01702, to benefit cancer research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
