She was predeceased by: her spouse Nicky Palasanu. She is survived by: her daughter Roxana Plohotniuc; her granddaughter Olivia Plohotniuc (Andrew Koval) of Framingham, MA; her son Radu Palasanu (Mihalea Palasanu); her grandchildren, Amalia Hauck (Christian) and Alex Palasanu; her great grandchildren, Laura Marie, Stefan Maximilian of Munich and Germany; her sister Ani Dumitriu of Bucharest, Romania.; and her pets, Rupert, Benito and Paco.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the International Myeloma Foundation.
