She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Cohen and Esther Cohen (Goldsheid); her husband Leonard "Lenny" Avers; and her brother Marvin Cohen. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Safer (Ted) of Sharon, Maureen Beckerman (Doug) of Franklin and Lawrence Avers (Michelle) of Boca Raton, FL.; her grandchildren, Jason Safer (Alyssa), Jessica Dailey (Jonathan), Sam Avers and Jacob Avers; her sisters, Pauline Engel and Polly; and her sister-in-law Phyllis. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
