He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred D. Gilbert and Ida S. Gilbert (Bourdeau). He is survived by: his wife Ginny (Benson); his children, Paul (Karen) of Charlton, Michael (Veronica) of Ashland, Jeffrey of Grafton, Greg (Kristina) of Marlborough and Sharon Gilbert of Framingham; his grandchildren, Derek, Brittany, Ryan, Morgan, Timothy, Alyson, Cole and Myles; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Braxton; and his siblings, Jean Briggs (William) of Haverhill and John Gilbert (Laurel) of Riverview, FL..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home (11 Lincoln St, Framingham, MA 01702). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McCarthy McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home (11 Lincoln St, Framingham, MA 01702). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Cemetery (0 Fenwick St, Framingham, MA 01701).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local charity of your choice in Eddie's name.
