He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Kerns and Josephine R. Kerns (Szczuka); and his sisters, Anna J. Kerns, Elinor H. Kerns and Theresa M. Kerns.
He is survived by: his siblings, John F. Kerns (Martha P.) of Framingham and Margret E. Kerns of Millis; and his nieces and nephews, Jack, Scott, Jennifer and Emma.
