He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Moriarty and Orene Moriarty (Brown); his sister JoAnne Meuse (David); and his nephew David Meuse. He is survived by: his wife Janet S. Moriarty (Redding); his sons, Sean E. Moriarty (Christy) and Todd Moriarty; his granddaughters, Megan Moriarty and Riley Moriarty; his siblings, Patricia Brown, Jerry Moriarty (Cheryl) and Brian Moriarty; and his nieces and nephews, Jerome T. Moriarty, Matthew Bretschneider (Maggie Kuch), Robin Azzara (Terry), Doreen Bonczkiewicz (John), Erin Moriarty and Kimberly Cahill (Colin).

Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home (11 Lincoln St, Framingham, MA 01702). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Church (74 School St, Framingham, MA 01701). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Stephen Cemetery (0 Fenwick St, Framingham, MA 01701).
