David J. McGrath Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David J. McGrath of Framingham, Massachusetts, born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. McGrath and Agnes McGrath (Loughery); his wife Susan McGrath (Beavis); his grandchildren, Joseph and Kristin; and his sister Carol Baker (McGrath).
He is survived by: his children, Joanie McGrath of Falmouth, MA, Shaun McGrath (Denise Demrest) of Fitchburg, MA and Christopher (Michelle); his grandchildren, Crystal, Andrew, Rachel, Erin, Liam, Emma and Benjamin; his great grandchildren, Reagan, Riley and Decklyn; his siblings, Jeannie Walker of Ashland, MA and Michael McGrath of Vermont; and his close friend Judith Richardson (Walker) of Framingham.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home (11 Lincoln St, Framingham, MA 01702). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Church (74 School St, Framingham, MA 01701). A burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Stephen Cemetery (0 Fenwick St, Framingham, MA 01701).
