She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Plona and Stella Plona (Jarkewicz); and her husband James D. Murphy. She is survived by: her children, David (Marsha), Paul (Robin), Edward, Patricia Robidoux (Gregory), Kevin (Kelley), Stephen (Jean), Eileen Cate (Jeffrey), Jim (Susan) and Sharon Ghio (David); and her sisters, Lucy Karp and Janet Sargood. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home (11 Lincoln St, Framingham, MA 01702). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Church (74 School St, Framingham, MA 01701). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Stephen Cemetery (0 Fenwick St, Framingham, MA 01701).
