She was predeceased by: her spouse Vernon "Bud" Hanson. She is survived by: her parents, James C. and Julia R. McElligott (McNeil); her children, Liane Kentas (Mullahy) and Jonathan Mullahy; her son-in-law Solon Kentas; her grandsons, Martin Kentas and Evan Kentas; and her brothers, James McElligott and John McElligott. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
