He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl G. Buhrer and A. Katherine Buhrer (Reichert); his wife Dorothy "Dotty" Buhrer (Kunkel); his children, Carole A. Mahoney (Brian) of Reading, MA and James C. Buhrer (Robin) of Andover, MA.; and his grandchildren, Lauren Flaherty (Buhrer), Caitlin Mahoney, Megan Mahoney and Michael Buhrer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the PmMcCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home & Cremation Services (11 Lincoln St, Framingham, MA 01702). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Church (74 School St, Framingham, MA 01701). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Edgell Grove Cemetery (53 Grove St, Framingham, MA 01701).
