He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jack Swotinsky and Frances Regen (Al); his brother-in-law Alan Okstein (Sheila); his nieces and nephews, Glenn Swotinsky, Karen Regen-Tuero (Walter), Sarabeth Okstein and Larry Okstein (Lisa); and his parents, Bertha Swotinsky (Leeman) and Isidore Swotinsky.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Swotinsky (Okstein); his daughters, Lisa Smith, Amy Swotinsky of New York City and Debra Bruckner; his grandchildren, Shanna, Jocelyn, Adam Smith, Rachel and Sam Bruckner; his sisters-in-law, Anita Swotinsky and Karen Okstein; and his nephews, Mark Swotinsky (Arlene) and Robert Swotinsky (Michelle).
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sharon Memorial Park (40 Dedham St, Sharon, MA 02067). A shiva was held on Monday, January 6th 2025, and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
