He was predeceased by: his husband Mary Louise Rivers (Mclaughlin); his parent Arthur E.; and his sibling Laura Briggs. He is survived by: his parent Alvira Rivers (Phillips); his daughters, Julia Ann Rivers of Westborough and Carol Sue Bonnell (Michael) of Bellingham; his grandsons, Stephen Bonnell, Tiffany Brandel of Bellingham and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Hayden Benton of Whitinsville and Kaleb Bonnell of Bellingham; his siblings, Janet Flynn (Rick) of West Yarmouth and Donald Rivers (Carol) of Florida; his children, Gloria Jean and Edward Thomas Rivers; and his siblings, Victor Rivers and Ruth Mongardi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
