He was predeceased by: his former wife Geraldine Crowley. He is survived by: his children, Sharon M. Gottwald (Edward) of Foxboro, Justine Gay (Robert), Roxbury and Janis M. Johns (Michael) of Wrentham; his sister Rose Pulsinelli of Stoughton; his grandchildren, E. J. Gottwald, Lauren Lally, Jackie, Bobby, Peter Gay, Michael, Brian and Christopher Johns; and his great grandchildren, Landon Johns and Taylor Gottwald.
Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Parish (formerly St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton Monday morning at 10:00 am. Burial Knollwood memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at http://www.stjude.org).
