He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Beal and Caroline Beal (Wood); his wife Edith "Edie" Beal (Hatch); and his siblings, Stanley, Frank Beal and Jan Dimmick.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn M. Guild of North Attleboro and Karen Beinars (Greg) of Foxborough; his grandchildren, Valerie, Gregory, Danielle, Michelle, Kristina and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Mason, Jack, Ava and Anthony; his nieces, Barbara, Cynthia, Connie and Judy; and his nephew Arthur.
