She was predeceased by: her spouse Major Jack F. Ingalls; her parents, Nathaniel Sherman and Marian Sherman (Harris); and her sibling Vining. She is survived by: her children, Denise Ingalls Schilling of Houston, TX, Elise Ingalls Swanton of Stamford, CT, Michele Ingalls Rhodes of Free Union, VA, John Ingalls (Ellie) of Little Compton, RI and Elaine "Lolly" Gallagher (Michael) of Foxborough; and her brothers, Fred Kirtland and Nathaniel Sherman. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
