She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore S. "Sam" Catanese; her parents, Salvatore Valera and Concetta Valera (Anzalone); her son-in-law Ronald Cormier of Townsend; and her siblings, James Valera, Philip Valera, Nino Valera, Antoinette "Mary" Varieur, Angela Barone, Joann Valera, Constance Barone and Josephine Calamare.
She is survived by: her children, Joann C. Cormier of Fitchburg and Anthony; her daughter-in-law Suzanne Catanese of Trenton, Maine; and her grandchildren, Tina Shenko, Sarah Cooper, Michael Cormier, Jessica Marks, Andrew Catanese and Christopher Catanese. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
