He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Hawthorne and Anne Hawthorne (Riordan); and his brother J. Barry Hawthorne. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hawthorne (Goguen) of Sterling; and his son Zachary Brousseau of Fitchburg.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home (316 Clarendon St, Fitchburg, MA 01420). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery (111 Glenallen St, Winchendon, MA 01475).
