It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patrick E. Newton (Fitchburg, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Patrick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Patrick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Newton Sr. of Iowa Falls and Dolores T. Newton (LeBlanc) of Fitchburg; his stepmother Margaret T. Newton (Lynde); and his stepbrothers, Anthony and Edward Lynde.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Newton (LaPointe); his children, Patrick J. and Evelyn R. Newton; and his siblings, Debra Newton of Lunenburg and Robert L. Newton Jr. of Fitchburg. He is also survived by many aunts/uncles, nieces/nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brandon Funeral Home (305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA 01420). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Lake Church (1400 Main St, Leominster, MA 01453).
