It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Gerard Albert (Fitchburg, Massachusetts), born in Leominster, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Gerard Albert and Karen Albert of Harwich, MA; his children, Logan Saranovitz, Noah Albert and Grace Albert of Lunenburg, MA; his sister Marybeth Roberts (Sean Roberts) of Lunenburg, MA; his nieces and nephews, Makenzie and Evan Roberts; and his pets, Tank and Delta "Girly". He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins; many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brandon Funeral Home (305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA 01420). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Church (180 Mechanic St, Leominster, MA 01453).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Massachusetts Muscular Dystrophy Association - honoring Michael's dear uncle; Andrew Maxfield, who passed away from this terrible disease on January 5, 2004.
