It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Bernard McNamara (Fitchburg, Massachusetts), who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David McNamara and Eleanor McNamara; and his sisters, Anne McNamara Darkazalli and Jane McNamara Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Early McNamara; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Osterberg (Ryan) of Rockwall, TX, Lauren Thornton of Brooklyn, NY and Kylie Gray of Westford, MA.; his stepchildren, Paula Gray (Eric) of Westford, MA and Mark Thornton; his siblings, Martin McNamara (Jane) of Worcester, MA, Thomas McNamara of Arlington, VA, Richard McNamara (Kerry) of Reisterstown, MD, Ellen McNamara Moore (David) of Worcester, MA, Kevin McNamara of Albany, NY, Stephen McNamara (Beth) of Fitchburg, MA, Robert McNamara (Clementine) of Shrewsbury, MA and Christopher McNamara (Lauren) of Fitchburg, MA.; his friend Swim Team Colleagues; his stepson David Thornton; and also Chris Boucher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
