She was predeceased by: her parents, Eino Alitalo and Irja Alitalo (Nieminen). She is survived by: her husband Brian Bourque; her daughter Lori Hembrow Bowers (Peter); and her brother Erik Alitalo (Brenda "Bing" Barnicle) of Fitchburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
