With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marianne Josefine Celona (Fitchburg, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Pete; her parents, Luise Goetz and Maurus Goetz; and her sister Liese Hofman. She is survived by: her children, Frank Peter Celona (Marjorie Hallstrom) and Mary Lou Celona; her granddaughter Alexandra Celona Franscell (Mike Franscell); her brother Karl Goetz (Jutta); her brother-in-law Frank V. Celona; and her cousin Margaret Goetz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Brandon Funeral Home (305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA 01420). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (84 Salem St, Fitchburg, MA 01420).
