It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo J. Maillet of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnnie Maillet and Marie Luce Maillet (Thibodeau); his wife Florence M. Maillet (Robichaud); his son Ronald J.; his daughter-in-law Allayne Maillet of Fitchburg; his daughter Rachel J.; his son-in-law David Brassard of Fitchburg; his sister Anita Robichaud of New Brunswick, Canada; his grandchildren, Hannah Durepo (Dane), Connor Brassard, Brianna McDonald (Ben) and Chad Maillet; his great grandchildren, Blake McDonald and Reese Durepo; and his siblings, Camille J. Maillet of Westminster, Aris Maillet of New Brunswick, Canada., Imelda Caisse of New Brunswick, Canada., Colombe Gaudet of New Brunswick, Canada., Rosa Boucher of New Brunswick, Canada. and Huberte Maillet of New Brunswick, Canada.. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
