He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill R. Pierce and Katherine M. Pierce (Wornham); and his son Stephen C. Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Pierce (Gould) of Mason; his son Eric R. Pierce (Andrea) of Ashby; his brother Dennis W. Pierce (Frances) of Townsend; and his grandchildren, Jessica A. Pierce, Brent L. Pierce and Dylan C. Pierce.
