He was predeceased by: his daughter Krystal Ann; his parents, Antone Mello and Dorothy Mello (Kelleher) of Watertown; and his brother Robert A. Mello. He is survived by: his former wife Laura M. Russo (Christopher McDonald) of Fitchburg; his siblings, James L. of Watertown, Thomas F. of California, John S. of Waltham and Elaine M. of Watertown; his niece Kaitlynn A. Allen (Jordan); his great-niece Medb D. Allen of Jefferson, NH; his stepchildren, Jason Paris and Ashley Carter; and his stepgrandson Mark Joseph.
