Jonathan E. Roy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2025, at the age of 76, Jonathan E. Roy of Fitchburg, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jonathan departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jonathan may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jonathan leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne Roy and Margaret "Peg" Roy (Gates); and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his wife Linda Roy (Rocca). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brandon Funeral Home (305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA 01420). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony's of Padua Church (84 Salem St, Fitchburg, MA 01420).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Coggshall Park, 718 Main Street, Fitchburg or to the Community Foundation of North Central MA (Friends of Fitchburg Cemeteries), 649 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg.
