He was predeceased by: his wife Olivia Myles (Snowden); his parents, James Wesley Myles Sr. and Henrietta Scott (Blair); his sister Marvilou Myles; his parents-in-law, Goy Jet Hilary Snowden and Gertrude Snowden; and his granddaughter Carole Snowden.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby James Myles and Marilyn Graham of St. Louis, MO; his stepson Leotis Snowden (Mary L. Snowden) of Arkadelphia, AR; and his siblings, Oscar C. Myles of Leominster, MA, Jessie Myles of Chicago, IL, George Scott of Farewell, PA, Eliza Higgins, Mattie Howard of Chicago, IL and Pearl Kilbrew of Forest Park, GA.. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
