We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2023, at the age of 89, Hubert Wirtz Jr. of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, born in Montréal, Québec passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Sr. Wirtz and Therese Wirtz; his wife Maximina Wirtz; his daughter Michelle Wirtz; and his sister Madeline Wirtz.
He is survived by: his friend Hubie; his children, Oly Wirtz and Lesly Borges; his grandchildren, Michael Lowe, Jennifer Lowe, Beverly Madden, Katherine Irizarry, Lily and Dylan Michales; his great grandchildren, Lisette, Trevor Lowe, Silas Herndon, Micah Behenna and Emerson Madden; and his siblings, Peter Wirtz of Fitchburg, Lionel Wirtz of Winchendon, Andree Geiselman of New Hampshire, John Wirtz, Louis Wirtz, Francine Perla, Gisele White and Lisa Bresnahan.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Saint Joseph Church or St. Jude Children's hospital.
