He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Troy Sr. and Virginia Troy (Hann); his sisters, Susan Ledoux (Reginald Ledoux) and Katherine Glynn; and his daughter-in-law Frances Troy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Troy (Maguire); his children, Linda A Kirrane (Pius) of Fitchburg, Joseph E. Troy (late Frances) of Hull, Laura O'Kane (Timothy) of Fitchburg and Catherine M. Kenneally (James) of Leominster; his grandchildren, Frank, Eddie, Liz, Katie, Sean of Colleen, T. J., Bobby, Shannon, Brenda, Erin and Johnny; his siblings, William Troy (Patricia) of Tewksbury and Virginia Giannelli (Frederick) of Harwich; his brother-in-law Ailbe Glynn of Allston; and his brother Thomas Troy of Bridgewater.
