She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ghilardi (Tarbell) and Geno Ghilardi of Fitchburg, MA; her brothers, Peter and Paul Ghilardi; her husband Alwin Casson; her son Scott Casson; and her grandson Donald Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Casson (Virginia), Stuart Casson of Madison, ME and Brenda Boudreau (Keith Boudreau) of West Townsend, MA; her daughter-in-law Margeret Casson (Peg) of Fitchburg, MA.; and her sisters, Gena Powell of Elverta, CA, Mary Selinga of Fitchburg, MA and Susan Ghilardi of Townsend, MA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the Alzheimer's Foundation in memory of her Mother Mary or the Wounded Warrior Foundation in memory of her husband Al.
