Barbara A. Fournier Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2024, at the age of 86, Barbara A. Fournier of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, born in Burlington, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cheeseman and Dorothy Cheeseman; her husband Maurice T. Fournier; and her son Michael M. Fournier. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Cox of Lunenburg, MA and Brenda Chavez (Anthony) of Fitchburg; her sisters, Shirley Chastain of Leominster, Theresa Doucette of Gardner and Joyce Porter of New Jersey; her grandson Jonathan Chavez; and also, David Fournier of Gardner, Stephen Fournier of New Hampshire, Elizabeth and Peter Cox of Lunenburg. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
