He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Blanchet (Lapointe); his mother Maria Blanchette; and his siblings, Maurice, Leonard Blanchette, Annette Aubin, Fredeline Tanguay and Marie Fradette.
He is survived by: his son Norman Blanchet (Mary) of Southampton; his sister Therese (Lucien Thibault) of Quebec; his brother-in-law Aime Fradette of Springfield; and his close friend Jeannine Carbonneau of Chicopee Ma. He is also survived by several in-laws and many cherished nieces and nephews.
