He was predeceased by: his father Ralph F. McEwan Sr.; his sister Kathleen Shepard; and his stepfather Lee "Toby" MacCallum. He is survived by: his children, Beth McEwan-Pajak (Jason) of Southwick, MA and Bryan McEwan (Tara) of Westfield, MA; his mother Shirley MacCallum (Daigneault) of East Canaan, CT; his sister Lynn Pike of Scottsdale, AZ; his brother-in-law John Shepard of Enfield, CT; and his grandchildren, Kaelyn, Madison and Chase. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
