It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Ann Benerakis of Feeding Hills, Massachusetts, born in Westfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Taraska (Pinas) and Joseph Taraska; her husband James J. Benerakis; and her siblings, James, Tadeus, Stanley, Adolph, Walter Taraska and Helen Herbele.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Joseph J. Benerakis (Michelle) of Idaho, Jane H. Benerakis of Feeding Hills and Ann J. Stryjek (John) of West Suffield, CT; and her grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicole Stryjek of West Suffield, CT, Joseph Benerakis and Sandra Monroe of Grass Valley, CA. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
