We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2022, at the age of 91, Helen K. (Liakopoulos) Catjakis of Feeding Hills, Massachusetts, born in Bath, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kostas Liakopoulos and Athanasia Liakopoulos (Economopoulos); her husband Athan C. "Soco" Catjakis; her grandson Louis A. Catjakis; her siblings, George Liakopoulos (Dorothy), Peter Liakopoulos and Barbara Belanger (Donald); and her brother-in-law Vasileos Pavloglou.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher C. Catjakis (Sue Ann) of Feeding Hills and Charles P. "Chuck" Catjakis (Gail) of Agawam; her grandchildren, Alyssa Chapdelaine (Brian), Nicholas Catjakis (Renee), Matthew Catjakis, Courtney O'Brien (Bill), Mackenzie Doyle (Zahra) and Taryn Toto (Joe); her great grandchildren, Noah, Harper, Isla, Lukas, Georgia and Henry; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Pavloglou. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends and extended family.
Her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 22 Saint George Road, Springfield, MA 01104.
