We bid farewell to Dorothy Joan Ritchie of Feeding Hills, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 92. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Roland J. Willett; her grandson Steven M. Willett; and her stepson Michael A Ritchie. She is survived by: her children, Daniel J. Willett (Terry) of Feeding Hills, Donna M. DaCruz (Valdemar) of Ludlow, David S. Willett (Susan) of Springfield and Denis M. Willett (Kimberly Winslow) of West Springfield; her stepson David Ritchie of Springfield; her daughter-in-law Karin E. Willett of Springfield; her stepdaughter-in-law Tamie Ritchie of West Springfield; her sister Carol Krupienski (Raymond) of Milford, CT; and her close friend John. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center (1858 Allen St, Springfield, MA 01118). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be directed to the Shriner's Hospital for Children or to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
