He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Gonet and Pauline Gonet (Wojnar); and his sister-in-law Gail Gonet. He is survived by: his brothers, Lewis J. Gonet (Kathryn) of Feeding Hills and William T. Gonet of Feeding Hills; and his nephews, William P. Gonet of Westfield, John C. Gonet of Southwick, Thomas G. Gonet of Agawam and Roger L. Gonet of Agawam. He is also survived by six grandnieces; five grandnephews; and 1 great-grandniece.
