He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. McAdams and Mildred McAdams (Hodder). He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann McAdams (Gladman); his sons, Robert J. McAdams, Jr. (Lisa) and Mark W. McAdams of Franklin; his brothers, William McAdams of Walpole and Donald McAdams of East Falmouth; and his granddaughters, Gayle and Erin McAdams.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation for Falmouth Respiratory Center, P.O. Box 370, Hyannis, MA 02601.
