He is survived by: his parents, Martin Carney and Mary Carney (Carrigan); his wife Patricia of Falmouth; his children, Debra, Susan and Robert Carney; his children-in-law, George Owens and Wanda Willard; his granddaughter Emma Carney; and his sister Mary McArdle of Worcester. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces.
