He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Ghelfi and Mario Ghelfi of Bridgewater; his brothers, Albert and James Ghelfi; and his son Robert Ghelfi Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Betsey; his daughter Tracy Ghelfi Correia of Falmouth; and his brother Anthony Ghelfi of Mashpee. He is also survived by 3 stepdaughters, a stepson, and his greatest joys, 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
