He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edgar and Inez Copeland Sherman. He is survived by: his children, Lee Sherman Wainwright of Birmingham, MI, Richard Dana Sherman, Jr. of McLean, VA and Jeffrey Fuller Sherman of Marathon, FL.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
