He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Herbert; his children, Jerry Dalessio (Cheryl) of Dracut, MA, Deborah Herbert (Alfredo Taylor) of Falmouth, MA and David Herbert of Acworth, GA.; his grandchildren, Melissa Bonin, Jennifer Morrow, Mandy Ladner, Rochelle Tiberi and Logan-Paige Ahari; and his great grandchildren, Sam, Matthew Lander, Madeline, Michael Tiberi, Jason and Levi Ahari.
Peter loved to care for the veterans, support the homeless, and donate to the shelter for abused women.
