It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Funkhouser D. (Falmouth, Massachusetts), born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James B. Funkhouser and Gene S. Funkhouser; his wife Avery Thompson Funkhouser of Buffalo; and his sister Alice Flowers. He is survived by: his children, Christopher (Amy Hufnagel), Stewart (Bridget Kilkenny) and Margaret (Jason Stumpf); his sister Laura Ruml (Ted); and his grandchildren, Constellation, Aleatory, Jonas and Owen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Buzzards Bay Coalition.
