He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Ernst Leone; his former wife Corinne Romley; his children, Donna Terwilliger (Carl), Deborah Knezacek (Oz), Denise Leone, Michael Leone (Catherine), Diane Leone Yetter (Dick), Kathleen Leone Seeley (David) and Nicholas Leone; and his grandchildren, Cora Knezacek Vielhauer (Wayne), Michael Knezacek (Shauna), Nathaniel Knezacek (Kallie), Matthew Knezacek (Morgan), Caleb Knezacek, Devin Terwilliger (Melissa), Jessica Leone Randa (Bryan), Gerald Michael Leone III (Stephanie), Kyle Seeley (Sarah), Connor Seeley, Patrick Seeley (Regina), Massimiliano Leone, Isabella Leone, Lucciana Leone, Giacomo Leone, Hannah Royals and Micah Royals. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
